PRODUCT / PRIVACY
Local is
the default.
MiniPilot runs on the machine you install it on. There is no MiniPilot account, vendor database, analytics service, or telemetry endpoint.
Your credentials and session
Ubuntu credentials are passed to the machine’s PAM authentication service. MiniPilot does not save passwords in an application database. Browser session tokens stay in tab memory, with idle and absolute expiration. The appearance preference is stored in your browser.
Machine information and reports
Inspection happens under the signed-in Ubuntu user’s identity. Reports are exported only when you request them and use an allowlisted summary that excludes hostnames, usernames, IP addresses, file paths, raw logs, command arguments, credentials, and tunnel hostnames. Review any report before sharing it.
Optional remote access
If you enable Cloudflare Tunnel, Cloudflare handles your remote traffic, including the Ubuntu login submitted through that connection. MiniPilot does not fetch external identity-provider keys or require a second login. Local inspection remains offline. MiniPilot does not manage your Cloudflare credentials or DNS.
This website and installation
This site has no analytics, tracking cookies, account form, or external font requests. All its assets are served from the site itself. A hosting provider may retain ordinary HTTP access logs according to its own policy. Downloading packages and installing missing Ubuntu dependencies involve the corresponding download hosts and package repositories.
